AutoUpload Configuration and Free Areas

1 min read

The primary usage for AutoUpload is to submit data to the National Data Poison System (NPDS). While AutoUpload will support additional usage, this guide will walk through the NPDS Setup.

Configure AutoUpload Destination #

This configuration will be completed in toxiCALL®. This can be performed before or after the installation of AutoUpload. toxiCALL® Administrator rights are required to complete this setup.

Select the AutoUpload section from the Navigation Bar.

Select AutoUpload Destination from the Navigation Bar.

From the Home Menu, Select New AutoUpload Destination.

Next, complete the form as suggested in the following screenshot.

Select Save & Close when complete

Update Mapping to Include Free Areas #

With toxiCALL® 5, we introduced customized Free Areas. However, the original Free Areas 1 through 3F are still submitted to NPDS. Mapping values must be defined for each of the free areas. This process is straightforward, as illustrated below and is available to administrators.

From the Left Navigation panel, select Transfer Mapping.

From the Home menu of Transfer Mapping, select the “Populate Default NPDS Free Area Mappings” button.

There is no acknowledgement of the mappings. However, refreshing the data should show an increase in the number of mapping items.

Missing Free Area Mappings #

If the Free Areas are not properly mapped to for NPDS submission, one or more detailed message will be presented as shown below. This can also result after new FreeAreas Data Items are not properly mapped.

Note that the custom free areas are not submitted to NPDS and do not require mapping for NPDS data submission.

Sample of error shown in the AutoUpload Viewer or Logs.
