Security Roles and Unlock a Case

2 min read

Security Roles Overview #

toxiCALL® provides a variety of security roles enabling user features such as unlocking cases, managing Keycuts, performing note redaction, and much more. Adding and removing Employees from these roles can be managed at the employee entry screen or through the Roles manager.

This section demonstrates how to manage employee roles using the Lock Manager role as an example.

Locked Cases Overview #

toxiCALL® uses a case lock to ensure multiple specialists are not trying to edit a case at the same time. However, you can open a locked case as read-only. The case lock is attached to both the user and the workstation. The lock is automatically released when the case window is closed, or toxiCALL® is exited properly.

A locked case can be identified with the Lock indicator shown

There may be occasions where a case lock remains, and it should have been released. This can occur if toxiCALL® is not closed down properly or if a workstation is shut down unexpectedly. This is identified as shown in the sample screenshot.
