# FLEX Updates™ (System Tables)

IMPORTANT

toxiCALL® requires access to the web domain toxweb.com to obtain FLEX Updates™. This website is not a user front-end website as it is only used to provide a Web API for communications with toxiCALL®. A landing page is not displayed by design when accessing this website using a web browser.

This section will walk you through updating the system tables in toxiCALL®. This important process will ensure you have the latest details available from our FLEX Updates^™ distribution server.

The Toxicall Tools Menu shows the options for checking system tables. The two methods available are described below.

System Tables Update Notice

For toxiCALL®administrator accounts, you may be greeted with a popup system reminder if a system table is out of date when starting toxiCALL®. This non-obtrusive reminder will automatically clear within a few seconds.

## What details can be updated by System Tables?

System Tables are designed to minimize the need for toxiCALL® updates by allowing a distribution of metadata which helps define how toxiCALL® works. This is a simple process but provides a great deal of flexibility with toxiCALL® and your changing business needs.

- Validation Rules
- Reports
- Dashboards
- Pre-defined Lookup Lists to include
  - Call Types
  - Genders
  - Clinical Effects
  - Therapies
  - Routes
  - Scenarios
  - Outcomes
  - Survey Forms
  - Keycuts
  - More!

One significant advantage of toxiCALL® is that you can also create and update your lookup values, reports, dashboards, validation rules, etc. While toxiCALL® does distribute these items, you can override them to suit your specific business needs.

## Update From Web

Updating the system tables from the web is a simple process. This will connect to our toxiCALL® Web Server to ensure you have the latest updates. From the Ribbon Bar:

1. Select the Tool menu option
2. Select Check System Tables
3. Observe the list of System Tables which require an update
   - Select one or all tables which require an update.
   - Note "Newer" indicates a newer version is available.
4. Select the Filter row item to filter which tables require updating.
5. Click Update All or Update Selected as needed.

Choose Yes to confirm your selection.

Observe the updated status as the tables are released.

System Tables should now be updated!
